4. Invest in high-quality bedding and sheets.
One of the most important things you will do for your emotional and physical health is to have a whole night's sleep. When people visit a hotel, one of the first things they say is how soft the sheets and bedding are. Although high-quality bedding can be costly, it is ultimately worthwhile. When you do, you'll feel a lot happier.
Bedding of higher quality would therefore last years longer than bedding purchased at Walmart. The cost of re-purchasing inexpensive sheets and bedspreads will add up with time to the cost of one pricey kit. Great bedding may also be shared and passed on over the generations. My brothers and I, for example, have taken our parents' bedspreads into our new apartments and were able to return them to them after we moved out. However, the inexpensive bedding I bought on my own from Target or Walmart still had to be thrown away because it pilled, stretched, or ripped.
