19. Paint Savings
Gallons of paint will cost anywhere from $40 to $60 at places like Home Depot and Lowe's. There will also be a plethora of high-end premium paint labels claiming to be superior. It is difficult to say if these pricey pants are worth the money before you put them to use in your house. Sure, there are several advantages of using unique colors, such as mold-resistant paint in a bathroom. However, in most cases, you can get away with buying a less expensive brand.
Many Walmart stores, believe it or not, have a paint department near the back's hardware section. Each gallon of paint costs between $20 and $30. And you could be able to get a better price if you find something that a customer has returned. You might think that since it's half the Home Depot price, it will be half the quality. The efficiency, on the other hand, is excellent. My bedroom was painted with Walmart paint about five years ago, and it still looks great.
