7. Store dairy products in the coldest place

Studies show that if you want to keep your dairy products long-term, put it in the back of the fridge where it's the coldest. They will stay fresh longer if they are in the coldest part of the refrigerator.

It may be more convenient to get milk from the entrance when you have your baby's cereal ready in the morning, but you'll save money over time if you place them in the back of the fridge.
