25. Keep Apples and Potatoes side by side
Many know that you shouldn't store your onions and potatoes side by side as the gases will come back faster. However, one way to extend your potatoes' shelf life is to store them next to apples. This hack should prevent the potato from sprouting for longer.
Plus, it won't hurt apples, and you don't need to keep them as much as possible alongside potatoes. For example, you can store a few apples in a crisper drawer and a few beside the potatoes. Just make sure you eat those by potatoes first.
