21. Frozen herbs in olive oil

You know that dry herbs and spices, like Mrs. Dash, will last for a long time. However, you may want some fresh herbs in your home as well. The problem is they don't last long, and you can always create a lot before it starts to rot.

One of the biggest keys to extending the shelf life of fresh herbs is freezing them in olive oil. Only shred the herbs, put them into an ice cube tray, add olive oil, and freeze. Then, when you need herbs, pop out how many blocks of olive oil, you need and thaw them or throw them right into your dish.
