25. Chairs, not couches
Use smaller armchairs and regular chairs instead of choosing large sofas for your living room if you are working with a small space. An essential element of farm-style decor is space. It will lose its appeal if an apartment is overcrowded. Two well-placed chairs with a coffee table between them will work just as good.
