Chair's Padding Replacing

Step 6. Chair's Padding Replacing

You don't have to replace the chair padding, but it's a good idea to put new Padding on while you're reupholstering the chair. If the Padding is still sufficient, of course, then you don't have to think about it. As long as you see no signs of mold or mildew, it's not essential to replace the Padding. Another explanation for removing the Padding is when dark spots are present. Since small holes can rapidly develop into larger ones, they don't have to be big spots.

You cut a batting piece that will fit the seat to cover the Padding. You will get extra Padding by adding a muslin layer on top, which helps you sit on the chair for an extended period. Plus, an additional layer will make the chair more comfortable for your guests.
