Step 5. Remove stapled Items from Seat bottom
You can see some staples holding the fabric to the chair when you turn over the chair and look at the cushion's bottom. To take the old material off the chair seat, you must carefully cut these staples. This is the right step to take if you have a staple remover. But you have to understand that the pins are more extensive than those used to keep paper together and can be challenging to extract. You can use the tip of a flat-head screwdriver if you don't have a staple remover.
The essential move is to make sure that you quickly throw away the staples. Placing them on the floor next to you and cleaning them up when you are finished is fast. This is risky, though, because you can step on a staple, get one in your shin, or not catch all of them and later step on them. You should cut the old fabric from the chair until you have removed all the staples.
