Honest Reference
If the restaurant owner wouldn't eat there themselves, it would raise some red flags about the place.
That said, it's not what you'd expect to read on a strategically placed sign outside a restaurant. A quote from the owner doesn't serve as a foolproof guarantee that the place is worth splurging on for lunch. At least the sign is upfront about its references, which is somewhat reassuring.
