Sara Ramirez, who played Callie, has focused on their singing career since leaving Grey's Anatomy. Alongside their music, Sara continues to pursue acting.
They landed a lead role in the CBS drama Madam Secretary, portraying Kat Sandoval from 2017 to 2019. They also voiced Queen Miranda in the Disney animated series Sofia the First and its spinoff, Elena of Avalor.
