Pythagoras

Contrary to common belief, Pythagoras did not originate the Pythagorean theorem, A2 + B2 = C2; one of his students first devised it. However, Pythagoras enhanced and demonstrated its validity. Beyond his mathematical contributions, he was an eccentric individual with contradictory beliefs.

Despite advocating against sexual activity's weakening effects, Pythagoras had numerous children. He harbored a peculiar aversion to beans due to a belief in their shared origin with humans. Furthermore, his avoidance of meat added complexity to his dietary choices.
