Although political leaders are supposed to serve the public, it often feels like many are more invested in image than service. So it’s always surprising to see people idolize them the way they would idolize movie stars.
Politicians have long been treated like public figures worthy of attention and admiration, but maybe that mindset deserves a reset. After all, leadership should be about responsibility and integrity — not fan culture or blind loyalty. It’s worth questioning why we elevate them so high in the first place.
