25. Bring up the artwork
There is nothing more perfect for your small spaces than there are some artworks on the wall. Search for pieces at a discounted price from department stores and don donate to settle on too large artwork. A few small pieces will do a much better job than one or two great articles covering your wall. You can always buy a few small paintings and paints from your local craft store and create some of your art.
Having a small home doesn't mean you can't have beautiful things. As long as you're cautious about what you buy and find the best way to make the most of each indoor space, you can make the most of it. Instead of feeling like a turtle trapped in its shell, create your home and decorate it with small items that highlight your personality in a useful way.
