2. Influences between Mexican and Native America
We discussed earlier in this list how many young Australians are going to move to Bali. Here in the United States, Mexico and Canada are the frontier nations we can drive. But it just makes sense that there would be Mexican and Native American elements in our bohemian-styled houses.
Both communities have distinctive traditions and designs of their own. Mexico is renowned for its exquisite floral embroidery, while Native Americans have blankets and fabrics with designs that you can use for rugs or throws. On Etsy, you can find these handmade items. Help the nearby tribes by attending a reservation gift shop, if at all possible, instead of purchasing items that are ripping off their traditions.
