Syndrome X
In this photo, we see Brooke Greenberg alongside her family, consisting of her parents and two sisters. Brooke Megan Greenberg gained international recognition for her extraordinary condition of stunted growth. Referred to by her doctors as Syndrome X, Brooke remained physically and cognitively comparable to a toddler, despite her advancing years.
Measuring approximately 30 inches in height and weighing around 16 pounds, Brooke had a mental age estimated to be between nine months and one year. Tragically, she passed away in 2013, when she was just 20 years old.
