18. Soccer Socks
Imarangatu's cheating story is short, but it gets the job done. This woman devised a devious plan to catch her husband lying about attending so many "soccer games." (For you Europeans out there, that's football.)
"One of my acquaintances suspected her spouse of cheating because he went to 'play soccer with buddies' far too often. He was always freshly showered when he returned home. He usually came home sweating after a game, so this was suspicious. She sewed his soccer socks together one day, and when he returned from the shower, the stockings were still sewed, indicating that he wasn't playing soccer at all. He was indeed cheating when she confronted him afterward.
