21. There are red flags everywhere.
BagHolder11, a Redditor, offered his partner the opportunity to hang out with her pals. This is usually a good thing to do in a relationship. However, it proved to be his undoing. “This club near our house used to be frequented by my ex. I didn't go very often because I didn't like her drinking pals. She went out with a new couple one night. I decided to follow them to the bar. As I enter, I notice my girlfriend at the bar with the pair and a man I'd never seen before. My girlfriend had an odd look on her face as soon as I made eye contact with her. She spoke with the man sitting next to her, and he got up and walked away. I had an odd feeling right away, but I dismissed it as being illogical.
She went out drinking the following weekend again and didn't arrive home until 4 a.m. She returned home at 7 a.m. on another occasion. Finally, when she was in the shower, I decided to check her phone. She saved all of the messages from the same person. I grabbed a change of clothing and drove to my best friend's place while she was still showering. Twenty minutes later, I receive a phone call from her, in which she is enraged that I am leaving. I informed her that if she didn't move out by Monday, the cops would come and take her away.
