Habitat of Orangutans
Another endangered species in the world is the majestic orangutan. Indonesia has various locations where you can witness these remarkable creatures in their natural habitat. The very name "orangutan" comes from the Indonesian language.
Currently, these great apes are found only in Borneo and Sumatra. However, during the Pleistocene period, they were distributed across South China and Southeast Asia.
