A Multilingual Nation
The primary language spoken in Indonesia is Bahasa Indonesian. However, it's not the only language found across the islands. In total, Indonesia boasts over 700 cataloged languages.
For example, in the region known as Papua, you can encounter more than 250 languages spoken. This linguistic diversity can present a unique language barrier from one city to another.
