An Archipelago
An archipelago is a collection of islands formed through volcanic eruptions or tectonic shifts. Several such archipelagos are scattered worldwide, and Indonesia is one of these unique nations. Some island chains are small, while others are expansive.
Indonesia ranks as the largest archipelago globally, comprising around 17,508 islands. Among these islands are well-known ones like Papua, Sumatra, Java, and Sulawesi. In total, there are five major islands and 30 smaller groups.
