Brianne Theisen-Eaton and Ashton Eaton
Ashton Eaton, the American decathlete, met Brianne Theisen-Eaton during their first year of college. Their relationship began to spark at the 2007 Pan American Junior Athletics Championship, prompting Theisen to transfer to Eaton's college. They tied the knot a year after competing together in the 2012 London Olympics.
At the London 2012 Olympics, Ashton Eaton won the gold in the decathlon and went on to achieve the same victory in Rio 2016. Canadian athlete Brianne Theisen-Eaton holds the Canadian record for the heptathlon.
