Canadian soccer star Stephanie Labbé has played professionally in both Sweden and Canada. The determined athlete made waves by suing Calgary Foothills F.C. after they denied her a spot on their men's team. She won a bronze medal as Canada's starting goalkeeper at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
That same year, Stephanie Labbé started dating Canadian cyclist Georgia Simmerling. An Olympian herself, Simmerling won bronze at the Rio Games and made history as the first Canadian to compete in three different sports at three different Olympics.
