Laura Reback and Greg Bennett
Laura and Greg Bennett both started competing in triathlons as kids, but they did so on opposite sides of the globe. They met for the first time in Canada, where American Reback was preparing for what she believed would be her last race while Australian Bennett was thinking about retiring.
While neither athlete retired for a while, they did commit to each other. Laura and Greg Bennett tied the knot in 2004. Laura went on to compete in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, with Greg competing in the 2004 Games.
