Why The Sad Face?
While we may spend considerable effort avoiding individuals we'd rather not encounter, imagining a face-to-face encounter with a creature like a blobfish takes it to a new level. It may make us long for the familiar gazes of those we intentionally evaded.
With its unique appearance, the blobfish resides in the depths of the ocean floor, safely distanced from casual swimmers. Therefore, the chances of encountering such an aesthetically unconventional face during our lifetime are extremely low.
