The last thing anyone desires while venturing into the open sea is encountering dangerous marine creatures, particularly sharks. Although this image may appear doctored at first glance, it is an authentic photograph published in National Geographic magazine.
According to the publication, the individual captured in the picture is a seasoned seafarer who managed to return to shore unharmed. Nevertheless, this unsettling depiction may dissuade us from considering kayak rentals or similar water activities for the time being.
