Vampire Squid
Contrary to any initial skepticism, it's time to reconsider your disbelief, as the stuff nightmares are made of exists, hiding somewhere in the ocean's depths.
This particular creature is aptly named the Vampire Squid and resides exclusively in the profound depths of the sea. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that you will encounter one while swimming near the beach. Although the Vampire Squid is not typically a significant threat to humans, we certainly hope to never put our luck to the test by encountering one firsthand.
