The Lady of Cao, belonging to the Moche civilization, was subsequently studied, leading to fresh insights regarding the gender of rulers and burial customs. Employing 3D imaging technology, her visage was reconstructed, revealing a woman with tan skin, dark eyes, and striking adornments.
