Monumental Stadium
Further reinforcing the government's authority and the economy's purported solvency, the Rungrado 1st of May Stadium was constructed. This colossal structure is the largest stadium globally, capable of accommodating an audience of 150,000 individuals.
Unlike the underused luxury hotel, this stadium serves practical purposes. While occasional sporting events occur here, it is more prominently employed for the Arirang Festival. This autumn celebration is dedicated to commemorating Korean culture and history.
