Innovative Agricultural Solution
Economic sanctions and disruptions in trade relationships with other nations have necessitated inventive solutions. In 2008, South Korea halted fertilizer shipments to North Korea, challenging the North Korean agricultural sector.
To counter this issue, the government enacted a unique law. Citizens were mandated to collect their waste and surrender it to the authorities. Subsequently, this waste was processed and employed as fertilizer for agricultural fields, presenting an unorthodox solution to a pressing problem.
