Religious Suppression
Throughout the narratives we've discussed, a recurring theme emerges control. This control extends beyond matters of fashion and art and encompasses religion. North Korea has been designated an atheist state by its government.
Consequently, any individual suspected of practicing religion can face arrest and imprisonment. This strategy allows the government to tighten its grip on the population further and precludes any diversity that might be perceived as potentially problematic.
