For men, there's one purpose to a shower: get in, get clean, and get out. For women, showers are so much more than that. Sometimes, they have to shave their legs. Other times, they have to wash their hair, which takes time.
Understandably, this is a really weird concept to most guys. Women generally have to plan hair-washing and shaving showers around important events.
