Where Are the Chips

Some things in life should never change: that one lightbulb you promised to replace five years ago and the layout of your local grocery store. Seriously, why does the grocery store layout need to change? It’s infuriating to wander down every aisle searching for something as simple as deodorant or ranch dressing. You expect to find everything in its usual spot, but suddenly, you’re on a scavenger hunt.

The disruption of familiar pathways can ruin your whole day. What used to be a quick trip now turns into a frustrating ordeal that might take more than ten minutes. And now, the very real possibility of having to ask someone for help becomes a daunting task. Grocery shopping should be a straightforward experience, but the ever-changing layout makes it feel like an unnecessary challenge.
