18. Mom figured out how to get rid of acne.
A mother and her son came in to talk about how to treat their son's acne.
Son was about 15 years old at the time and didn't seem to mind the acne, but mom did.
She inquired if he only needed to "do it" to get rid of the acne after looking over treatment alternatives.
A grown woman with a child believed that his acne would suddenly disappear if he took off his pebbles.
So, there you have it.
Many people believe that acne is synonymous with being an adolescent, thus doing it for the first time makes you a man, and you will no longer have acne. It's an odd cognitive process, but it's there.
