Taran Killam – The Amanda Show
Taran Killam's acting career began with a role in Naked Gun 33 1/3 in 1994. He gained prominence as Spaulding on the sketch comedy show The Amanda Show. After his time on The Amanda Show, he joined the cast of MADtv and made guest appearances on other Nickelodeon shows, including Drake & Josh.
In 2011, Taran took a significant step in his career by becoming a cast member on Saturday Night Live alongside another Nickelodeon alum, Kenan Thompson. His time on SNL further showcased his comedic talents to a broader audience. Taran Killam's acting prowess extended beyond television, as he also appeared in films like 12 Years an enslaved person and landed roles in television shows like Single Parents.
