Nerfed to Oblivion
Can you imagine how terrifying Thanos is when wielding the all-powerful gauntlet adorned with six of the most potent stones in existence? A man with that much power can't be trusted! He could instantly snap away half of the universe's population, which he indeed did.
But as menacing as Thanos was in "Infinity War" with his precious stones, he was even more formidable as a supervillain in "Endgame," despite having only a sword to take on the Avengers. Yes, they significantly weakened the future version of Thanos, which was perhaps for the best.
