The Harsh Reality of Independence
We all dream of the day when we can leave home, head off to college, and embark on a life of independence. However, what often escapes our initial enthusiasm is the reality of adulthood – paying bills, managing a budget, and deciding between a McDonald's lunch or four hours of sleep.
And let's not even get started on making our own Doctor's appointments. Back in college, some of us had our moms call the Doctor's office for us, even when she was on the other side of the country. Freedom and independence, much like college itself, can sometimes feel overrated.
