That same year, Margot achieved her breakthrough in the U.S. by landing a role on the television show "Pan Am," which aired on A.B.C. The show was set in the 1960s and revolved around the lives of pilots and flight attendants. Margot was fortunate to work alongside an exceptional cast.
Though the show's concept ultimately didn't resonate with the audience, leading to its cancellation after just one season, it still gave Margot significant exposure and a valuable opportunity to establish herself in Hollywood.
