Kinmel Hall is a unique mansion built in 1899 and is known as a "calendar house." It implies there are 365 rooms in total, one for each day of the year. Hugh Robert Hughes, the owner, was a multibillionaire copper magnate. A few different families purchased the house over the years. This house is more significant than what most families can handle.
In 2011, a mysterious affluent investor paid $1.9 million for the hotel to convert it into a hotel. The plans, however, did not work out. The hotel was never constructed, and the owner deemed the project a flop. The owner could care less about the historic house because he lives in the Cayman Islands. As a result, the mansion began to deteriorate. Looters began stealing goods from the home as word got out that the house was uninhabited—the place on the list of the 10 Most Endangered Victorian Buildings in 2015. The cost of repairing the castle is now expected to be around $25 million.
