Many fondly recall Alexa PenaVega for portraying the central character Carmen Elizabeth Juanita Echo Sky Bravo Cortez alongside her on-screen sibling, Juni, in the Spy Kids franchise.
Following Spy Kids' success, PenaVega was featured in several projects, including From Prada to Nada and heartwarming Christmas-themed movies. Nevertheless, the actress eventually decided to step back from the limelight. In an interview with Fox, she candidly disclosed that her husband, Carlos PenaVega, grappled with adapting to Los Angeles at the time. However, she also expressed appreciation for her chosen hiatus.
