Don't Think You Can Soft-Soap Me!
There is certainly frustration when encountering an empty soap dispenser in a public restroom just when you need to wash your hands. Interestingly, studies indicate that using a shared soap bar may harbor more germs than simply rinsing hands with water alone.
However, the situation in the photo below adds another layer of confusion: a solid soap bar placed inside a liquid dispenser. We cannot be certain about the specific cleaning practices in Russia. Still, this arrangement appears to deviate from conventional expectations regarding using appropriate chemical substances for hand hygiene.
