Statues Can Be Seen for Miles
You probably already know that Thailand is renowned for its large and intricate statues, particularly those of Buddhas, due to its strong Buddhist culture. These statues can be found throughout the country, serving as places for people to pay their respects and offer prayers to the Buddha.
One of the most notable Buddha statues is the Phra Buddha Maha Nawamin of Wat Muang, situated in the Ang Thong Province, just north of Bangkok. This gold-painted statue is the culmination of 18 years of dedicated work and was finally completed in 2008.
