Abby and Brittany Hensel, despite sharing vital organs, have separate experiences of illness. Surprisingly, one twin can get sick while the other remains perfectly healthy. For instance, Brittany once endured severe childhood pneumonia while Abby remained unaffected.
In a remarkable display of sisterly love, when Brittany was too unwell to take her medication, Abby attempted to take the medication on behalf of her sister. This touching act underscores the deep bond they share. The only exception to this peculiar phenomenon is when one of them experiences a stomach ache, which, interestingly, is felt in the opposite twin's stomach.
