Although he initially gained fame as the lead singer of Generation X, he is most renowned for his hit song "White Wedding." During the peak of his stardom, Idol indulged in a hedonistic party in his Bangkok Oriental Hotel room. The festivities lasted an astonishing three weeks and destroyed the room, amounting to damages worth $250,000.
As the situation escalated, local authorities could not handle the matter, prompting them to seek assistance from the Thai army. Ultimately, they had to use a tranquilizer dart to subdue Billy, after which he was arrested and carried out on a stretcher!
