Twitter rules prohibit sharing private phone numbers or other personal information without the individual's consent. Rose McGowan's action violated these guidelines in this case, leading to her temporary ban from the platform. However, the ban lasted only for 12 hours as she promptly removed the offending post in compliance with Twitter's rules, allowing her to regain access to her account afterward.
