As an exceptional Latin dancer, Ukrainian Maksim Chmerkovskiy was destined to find his ideal partner within dance. This fate materialized when he crossed paths with Peta Jane Murgatroyd, a performer hailing from New Zealand and America, during their joint participation in Dancing With The Stars. Their connection deepened, leading to their marriage in 2017.
Maksim and Peta are now proud parents to a son named Shai Aleksander. They continue their professional dance careers, seamlessly transitioning into the theater world. Furthermore, they have ventured into choreography and secured roles in Netflix shows.
