Michael Strahan & Jean Muggli
Former American football player Michael Strahan and Jean Muggli tied the knot after meeting at a spa in Manhattan in 1999. The couple welcomed two daughters during their marriage but decided to separate in 2005. Their separation came about when Muggli contacted the police, alleging that Strahan had threatened her with physical violence. In response, Strahan filed for divorce, accusing Muggli of withdrawing $3.3 million from their joint bank account, a claim she refuted. The divorce proceedings turned acrimonious as Muggli made additional accusations against Strahan. However, both Strahan and the judge dismissed these allegations. Despite the contentious nature of their divorce, Muggli was awarded a settlement of $15 million and $18,000 per month in child support.
