It would help if you did troubleshooting before beginning a redesign. First, identify the "problem areas" and imagine what could be done as a solution. You can find the answer by searching on Google or Pinterest for your particular situation.
Even after you begin your process, you also need to do troubleshooting. No renovation is completely smooth sailing. As time goes on, you have to do some troubleshooting to get yourself back on track.
