Someone likes pink, and they made their home looks like a dollhouse. They displayed their doll collection in every single room, even though both husband and wife live there. Certainly, they didn't consult the husband.
Many people fail to strike a balance between feminine and masculine. You can choose gender-neutral things. Keep it in mind when you are creating your space. If it leans too far masculine or feminine, it is not suitable.
