#33: A Treasure Run
Imagine jogging down a quiet dirt road and stumbling upon a bag full of old currency. That is exactly what happened to one lucky runner. Inside the bag were envelopes containing bills and coins from multiple countries, some dating back to the 1700s and 1800s.
The oldest coin was from 1621, making this find a small historical jackpot. How these items ended up abandoned on a rural path is anyone’s guess. But one person’s morning run turned into a once in a lifetime discovery.
