#32: A Shadow That Is Not a Shadow
At first glance, the picture looks like someone’s white cat is casting a perfect shadow on the wall. But look again. That is not a shadow at all. It is a second cat entirely. A black cat was sitting in the exact same posture as the white one, creating the illusion of a flawless silhouette.
The lighting in the room placed the darker cat in just the right position to mimic a shadow. The result is a hilarious optical trick. Without context, anyone would assume they were looking at one cat and its shadow. Instead, it is simply two pets coincidentally synced up.
